その暮らしと文化は、今の私たちも共感する美意識にもつながり素敵な未来へのヒントを与えてくれます。

江戸美学研究会は、こうした江戸の美意識をデザインやライフスタイルなどの側面から研究し、それを今日の楽しみに変える「時」と「場」を創造し、文化の継承・復興に繋げ、未来の文化を創る活動をしています。

The Edo period was a miracle time that kept culture develop for more than two and a half centuries.

Born excellent design and craftsmanship, sense and idea to find fun every day, a rational

circulating society, moderate and caring relationship…in this period.

The life and culture lead us to the aesthetic sense that we also empathize

with it and give us hints for future.

The Edo Aesthetic Study Group, our workshop, make a study of aesthetic sense of Edo from

design and lifestyle, and create “times” and “places” that turn it into enjoyment of nowadays,

and lead it to the succession and reconstruction of culture. We are doing activities

to create culture of the future.
